How did you find out about ROW Studios?

L: Brittany had been interested in using the erg at the gym we were going to. One day I was searching through Groupon and stumbled upon Row Studios! I asked Brittany if she wanted to try it and we ended up purchasing a great deal!

What did your goals look like when you first started at ROW?

L & A: Aside from losing weight and becoming more fit, our biggest goal when we started was accountability. We would always say “Let’s go to the gym tonight” and would end up not going, but the fact that we have to register for each class and we enjoy them so much means we stick with working out 5 to 6 times a week.

What hesitations did you have about ROW or rowing before your first class?

L & A: Our only hesitation was looking like a “newbie” on the erg. However, due to the genuinely supportive staff/coaches that immediately went out the door!

How has your lifestyle changed after joining ROW Studios?

L & A: We definitely use our time after work and on weekends to attend classes versus staying at home and doing no physical exercise. ROW brought us closer together and we are very happy to find something we love doing together. Also, We quickly changed a good part of our eating habits to coincide with fitness!    

What results have you achieved since you have started coming to ROW Studios?

L: A couple of weeks ago I did the Bod Pod test and will definitely see more detailed results when I go back in a couple of months. However, I’ve noticed more definition in my legs and some in my biceps (work in progress). In addition, I’ve noticed my endurance, form, and energy has significantly improved since beginning my journey at ROW.

B: I was really out of shape when we first started, and even though I have a long way to go, I can feel that I am getting stronger and am able to push myself further in each workout. It’s definitely been a mental boost.

What did you like most, or find most valuable, about your experience at ROW?

L & A: By far the wonderful staff/coaches/members! We’ve been extremely grateful for every individual that is involved with ROW. Our confidence in our fitness goals has been elevated because of the immense support we receive daily!

How else have you benefited from joining our community?

L & A: We definitely haven’t met everyone who works at or is a member of ROW, but the ones that we have are amazing. We are all in this together and definitely feel that when we’re there.

Which ROW classes do you take?

L & A: We go to all of them, but the one we attend the most is All Body.

L & A: This is an unfair question because each coach we have had is great and brings something different to their classes. They’re all

What’s your favorite pre-workout pump up song?

L: I listen to “Where You Lead I Will Follow” by Carole King, also known as the theme song for Gilmore Girls!

B: I listen to that song from Saved by the Bell when Kelly Kapowski, Lisa Turtle, and Jessie Spano were in Hot Sundae. Kidding! Anything by Run the Jewels.
