Choosing the Right Weight

USE THE WARM-UP AND BREAK TIME EFFECTIVELY
Take advantage of this time to try out the movements and play around with some weight.
Practice with the weight next to your erg or adjust accordingly with the dumbbell rack located right of the stage.

REALIZE WHAT THE FOCUS OF THE WORKOUT IS. NOT ALL WORKOUTS ARE THE SAME.
Some workouts are meant to be slower and focused on working with heavier weights, i.e. Strength.
While others are meant to be performed a little bit quicker and focused on more reps, i.e. AMRAPs, requiring a weight below full effort.

ADJUST WEIGHT TO DIFFERENT MOVEMENTS
Sometimes we get lazy and use the same weight for all the movements in a workout. ALL BODY PARTS ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL!
You should switch your weight to get the most out of every movement. Your lower body is a powerhouse and can move more weight than your upper.

ASK YOUR COACH!
When in doubt, do not hesitate to ask your coach.
